I began volunteering at Oasis in 2023, at first helping with the foodbank and then supporting in the office with various administrative tasks. Spending time at Oasis, I immediately felt it was an inspiring place to be. The welcoming environment the charity has created, underlines the important work it carries out in the local community and emphasises the care to be found there.
During the last two years I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in a local primary school. I have always been interested in working to support children and I hope to use my experience to make a positive contribution at Oasis.
